Each year, ENU participates in the annual Congress for the New Urbanism, working to uplift the voices of emerging professionals in walkability, placemaking, affordable housing, compact mixed-use development, climate change, environmental justice, and meaningful walkable design. Participants of CNU represent various fields - from architecture, urban planning, urban design, landscape architecture, engineering and more.
The annual Congress for the New Urbanism is a national conference where professionals interested in walkability, compact mixed-use development, transit, and many more related topics meet to teach, learn, and network. ENU will be hosting sessions and promoting the work of emerging professionals in the movement.

In this interactive session, ENU facilitates an engaging mentorship lunch where emerging and seasoned urbanists had the opportunity to grow their network and share resources. Mentors were able to give career advice and answer questions from emerging professionals, many creating lasting connections.
This panel will be moderated by ENU's Kip Santos and Thomas Long
In this session, Emerging New Urbanist leaders from different backgrounds will walk through their career path, highlighting key decisions and changes. The panel will include emerging experts in a range of disciplines, including landscape architects, urban planners, urban designers, real estate developers, and economists. By sharing their career paths and answering questions, these professionals will help guide others as they move forward in their new urbanist careers.
This year's panelists are Sophie McAdara, Cameron Clark, and Keegan Stanton (AICP CNUA)
